PS: Heard Lightfoot closed the lakefront plus the parks along LSD because a bunch of morons have no clue the seriousness of physical distancing,
Curious to know how long you watched it before realizing it was an animation.

I know that mlb and the union do not want to play games without fans in attendance, but if they are steadfast in that thought, I’m starting to wonder if there will be a season at all.

I think games without fans, although not the best case scenario, would be a much preferable option than no season at all, and would be welcomed by fans during these tough times.

I remember watching this game on TV and thinking how add it was that Cowens just went out and attacked Farmer unprovoked, of course not knowing the back story at the time.

So... since nothing is going on. What’s everyone single favorite Sox memory? Leaning towards Wise’s perfecto saving catch but I can be swayed towards the final out of the World Series. Love to get some of y’alls favorite memories while we’re sitting around.

Wise's catch, but many of mine come from the 05 playoff run.

Not specific moments, but the complete games vs. the Angels in games 2-5.

The clobbering of Boston in round 1 in 05, 14-2 with a 5-run 1st. AJ going opposite field HR for a 3-run bomb was awesome.

Game 2 of the WS with Paulie's grand slam, only to be outdone by Posednik's walk off after not hitting a single HR all year.

The 14-inning game 3 with Geoff Blum HR, Buehrle with the save.

Uribe's catch in game 4 for the 2nd out of the 9th inning

Outside of the 05 run, the blackout game against MN to get into the playoffs.

I think another great moment in 05 was when El Duque came in with the bases loaded and nobody out against the red sox in the ALDS and took care of business

I loved Jim Parque before he was decimated by injuries

El Duque was my favorite playoff pitcher growing up. He always seemed to come up big

People think the NFL draft is going to be a crap shoot(lack of pro days and face to face visits and medicals)....The baseball one is going to be very wild and difficult....

I can see a rough product on the baseball field after Sucha long layoff. I’d expect a lot of errors and a lot of K’s. Timing is gonna be off for a lot of hitters
