47 doubles and a 130 wRC+ in his rookie year and you don't expect growth offensively? I do. I would jump to make that deal. Andujar is a much better bat than Rosario and is certainly more polished. The thing is the Yankees aren't making that deal.

Why? It has increased for Rosario and Andujar was far more advanced with the bat in his rookie year than Rosario was. He only struck out 16% of the time as well so we know he's making consistent contact. If the Mets passed on Andujar to keep Matz, they would be nuts.

I thought Syndergaard (despite his line - not smart infield defense) looked good yesterday. His slider seems to have more sharp downward break, but it’s only 86 MPH. It’s clear that this is his new breaking ball moving forward as the 92-93 MPH slider is a thing of the past.

Familia and Brach looked good and were effective too.
