I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

New stance means nothing if the mentality isnít there and if Sanchez spends time on the IL. Plus it looks like it puts a lot of strain on one knee

I'm hoping the overhaul of our training staff, and strength and conditioning, new pitching coach, and catching instructor will pay huge dividends.I think just staying healthy will be a huge bonus

Brittle players are always on the DL. He will hit 30 HR but will play in about 110 games. We have to accept that Judge, Sanchez, and Sevy are too brittle to play full seasons.

You know that cliche that says you canít shine a turd?

Well, once injured riddled always injured riddled.

Judge, Hicks, Sevy, and Sanchez are in the same boat as Ellsbury. When they are healthy they are great but too many times often they are not healthy to be great and instead have a negative impact.

I donít care what new strength and conditioning, new training staff, new coaches, etc they get. Their bodies are just to brittle to handle the rigors of a 162 game season. As long as they are spread out with their injuries the negative impact wonít be felt as much.

I donít think you should be lumping sevy with the others . He has had only one bad season with injuries compared to the multiple with others . Now if you want to talk about a pitcher with a brittle body then look at Paxton , he has been on the IL nearly every season in his career

Any reason why Gerrit Cole skipped the basic routine of playing catch? He was spotted just watching.

Oh boy, $324 million and he canít play lazy catch? I hope his arm is not burned out from the past 2 postseasons of heavy pitching. This looks like Kawhi Lenard and load management.

He just pitched to live batters. He had multiple bullpen sessions already and was doing fielding drills.
