ďIím not very optimistic about the season starting any time in the next two, three, four months,Ē Hart said. ďItís just too hard. Unless they were somehow able to build a huge hotel and an arena and put a bubble over it in some random place somewhere, thatís my only guess how to actually finish the season in the next several months. You really do have to create a bubble.Ē Ė via New York Times
    Josh Hart, New Orleans Pelicans

Many players, Hart said, canít do anything constructive with a basketball under these circumstances because they donít have access to team facilities, and both private gyms and public courts are widely off limits. ďWhen youíre not even getting shots up, itís definitely going to take a long time for guys to get back, not only physically into playing shape but also mentally,Ē Hart said. Lakers' Rumored Plans For Dwight Howard & DeMarcus Cousins Revealed

Dwight Howard and DeMarcus Cousins were seen as promising additions to the Los Angeles Lakers this past summer. Unfortunately, only one of these players has worked out so far. Of course, that player is Dwight Howard who is having an incredible career resurgence. Meanwhile, Cousins has been out with an ACL injury that he sustained while playing at a gym with rec-league players. While the league may be on pause, teams are already thinking about their plans for next year and both of these players could have very different fates with the Lakers.

During an episode of the Hoop Collective podcast, ESPN's Brian Windhorst spoke about the Lakers and how their plans with these players may take a turn. As he explains, Howard is likely to return although they will probably end up parting ways with Cousins.

ďI donít think DeMarcus Cousins is looking at a make good contract, even if itís more than a minimum,Ē Windhorst said. ďI think that after a series of injuries heís had, all of which indicates that heís coming back too fast, doing too much, he needs even more time of coming back from this. Heís gonna have a job in the league, but I donít think itís gonna be a big money.Ē

Iím surprised nobody talked about his girlfriend saying that sheís a lifelong laker fan on a live stream and he ended the stream right after that. I donít think it means anything but I know people eat that kinda **** up all the time

League officials believe Anthony Davis will re-sign with Lakers

By any measure, this is the top priority of the summer given what the Lakers had to give up to get him.*Most in league circles believe that work is largely done Ė that L.A. is where Davis wanted to be, LeBron James is the teammate he wanted to have, and that the Lakers have done enough to sell him on a future with the franchise.*Again last week, Pelinka mentioned Davis and James in a ďpartnershipĒ with the front office, and since last July, Pelinka has reportedly sought Davisí opinion in important decisions.*

    Great to hear this.

AD re-signing here would be the icing on the cake and show other FA's that LA is the place to be. With the Lakers.

We all have assumed this, but we have all seen things take a twist at the end and not end up like everyone thought.

Agree, he's very likely to re-sign, no doubt but we'll all feel better when it will be official in a few months.

Iím not worried about AD resigning tbh. I think itís very likely he resigns barring anything drastic happens.

Unrelated to the lakers but the guy Iím not sure about is mookie betts of the dodgers that was also just traded for in the last year of his contract. The guy hasnít had enough time to mesh with his teammates and really, how can he enjoy LA if everyone is on lock down? Dodgers gonna have to break out a huge pay check if they want to keep him (which historically they donít usually do).

It doesn't mean anything, rich people have the luxury to change home whenever they want.
