Nets interested in Phil Handy. I thought Kyrie and Durant didn't believe in real coaches. I hope he stays. Huge part of Lakers success.

Agreed. This deal would seem to be reminiscent of the Steve Nash Deal that set us back for a while.

This would be a high risk and low to mediocre return imo.

There is so much other value we can get back with all the depth going out.

Plus Rondo and CP3 dont like each other. Could that be why Rondo Opted out??

I dont see Rondo getting a huge contract any where else.

As far as depth, the only people we lose that actually played are Kuz and Green, and they were pretty trash. Cook/AB/McGee didn’t eve contribute. I think it’s an amazing transaction for that. No risk

The main difference is, that Nash was not good anymore. CP3 was almost an MVP candidate and was an all star last year who was one of the final five on the court over both Luca and Ben Simmons in the final minutes. He’s still one of the top 5 pig’s in the game and he’ll be a top 5 point guard next year. Danny Green/Kuz/AB/Cook/McGee...none of those guys did anything during the championship run.

    The team would be

    PG CP3/Rondo/Caruso
    SG KCP/Waiters/THT
    SF Lebron/Markief
    PF AD/Kastas
    C DMC/Dwight

Still deep and with CP3, everyone is now better.

Bench to weak. We will be very good, but look who is on the bench if any starter gets hurt. Our change in the first unit is Green and we have AB.
    Howard?, Gee? Better player?
    Davis
    Lebron
    AB
    Caruso? Star?
    Bench:
    Center?Giannis ‘ brother?
    PF ? I want Galinari
    Vet? Morris?
    Sg?, Waiters?
    Rondo/ THT
The bench has to improve and if the zlskers pull a trade for Green and Kuzma, it has to be a younger star pg.

“The one that comes to mind the most is with Rajon Rondo ... He took a moment to thank me for believing in him ...”

⁃ Frank Vogel on which conversation he remembers the most after winning the championship during his appearance on The Lowe Post podcast

    (cont)

Vogel explained that having “confidence and belief in someone” and in turn “they reward you for great play” which leads to a championship, “is one of the best moments as a coach.”

Don't ever touch to Phil Handy! He should stay a Laker for life.
