Being truthful here when I say this is the first time I have looked at LeBron's collective numbers this postseason...and holy crap.

    His per game averages:

    26.7 pts
    10.3 rebs
    8.9 asts
    1.3 stls
    1 block
    63.7% true shooting
    35% usage rate
    42.9% assist%
    6.51 PIPM (best in playoffs)

LeBron's shooting numbers from different spots on the floor, compared.

    Regular season
    Rim: 68%
    Short Mid: 35%
    Midrange: 35%
    Three: 34%
    eFG% : 54.6%

    Playoffs
    Rim: 76%
    Short Mid: 57%
    Midrange: 43%
    Three: 36%
    eFG% : 60.7%

Among players consistently getting minutes, Rajon Rondo currently leads the Lakers in 3pt % in the playoffs at 45%.

    Playoff Rondo, indeed. https://t.co/LUJ16npMGC

Good morning Laker fans, 1 more day to go to the finals where Lakers start their final fight to get #17. Fun fact, Lakers #1 KCP has been shooting 42% from 3 with 47% catch and shoot from 3. Don't let the narratives fool u. Lakers got a supporting cast that can ball!

I read somewhere that NBA is gonna keep the salary cap the same for next season, and assuming everyone (AB, JM, KCP, RR) all pick up their POs (only one not picking it up is AD but to sign a max) we won't have any cap space to sign free agents for more then vet min unless we use our MLE or LLE. And now being that we don't hold any kind of bird rights for either Howard or Morris, we need to re-sign them using our exceptions.

We need to look for players who would take the vet minimum. One thing I would do is look for players that could fill the roles of both AB and JM that would probably take the league minimum. That would give us both ABs $5mil and JMs $4.2mil expiring contracts as trade bait. The 2 players I have in mind are DJ Augustin and Willie Cauley Stein.

Of course we really don't need to sign a player to replace AB if the team decides to just continue to go with KCP at PG next season. We could just sign a C to replace JM. Then look to trade both AB and JM to Detroit for Snell. Both AB and JM fill needs for Detroit while they have a surplus of SGs and SFs (Kennard, Svi, Sekou, Khyrie Thomas & Bruce Brown). We get Snell to back up Green.

    Thanks for the response Tex!

    Good points by the way..

I feel like we may be strapped to a certain degree as well. But I think moving Kuz, Javale for instance could get us a piece that would make more sense for our roster.

The only thing with Kuz is he can help out regular season because he is young and wants to prove himself. Although I would still rather have a more proven player
And I feel there will be a lot of players out there willing to play for the Lakers.

I would like to still see an emphasis on defense and if we get better defensively we got another great chance next season.

Hope in we sweep Miami to show the League the East is the Least.
