The cowboys have offered Wentz money to him. Offering him close to being the top player in the game is a show of good faith by the cowboys.

They are claiming it was closer to Wilson money . Iím sure a lot of this is the agent . This is what they are paid for . Thereís no rush for him to sign right now . Why not try to get as much as possible. In other words even if he liked the Cowboys last offer why admit it ? This is the dead period . Thatís probably what his people are telling him . Heís not effecting the team at all right now. If it goes into training camp and heís not there .. thatís another issue . They donít need another star player in Cabo while the rest of the team is breaking their ***

Itís weird when people say they donít want him. If for example Dak is asking for 40 million and not budging from that what are they suppose to do?

Exactly . They are offering above market value already . 40 is market value 3 years from now . At least .

They still can only use one if a new CBA gets signed.

After reading that article again, I'm pretty sure the two tags are allowed next year, not this year. It's not the 2020 season yet, the final season of the 2011 CBA, and the tag designations have to be made before the end of the current NFL year. (10 March, new one begins 18 March.)

    MVP race was what:

    Lamar
    CMC
    Wilson
    Mahomes
    Dak
    Rodgers
    Dak: 15,778 @ 65.8%, 7.6 per att, 97+21 TD, 36 INT+31 FMB, 97.0 Rate
    Wentz: 14,191 @ 63.8%, 6.9 per att, 97+3 TD, 35 INT+48 FMB, 92.7 Rate

    February 25
22nd day before start of 2020 League Year

NFL: The 15-day period where teams can designate franchise or transition players begins. Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones, Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott are prime franchise-tag candidates. As long as a there isn't a new collective bargaining agreement, teams will have use of both a franchise and transition tag since 2020 is the last year of the labor agreement.

Thatís shows how little you know . Dak was well within the race after week 11... and as I said then he had 2 games .. Buffalo and NE that could have put him near the top of the race but he failed to do it which was acknowledged after it happened .
