Would of much rather gave up the compensation for Masai. What he has done in toronto has been great

I love this, Idk about everyone else but the only slam dunk was Jerry West to me. Masai is way too overrated, outside of fleecing us in a trade what has he done? Getting Kawhi was easy the Spurs wasn't sending him to their conference and Derozan was the best talent out there. They gambled on losing Derozan hoping that Kawhi would stay and they won and lost at the same time. As for his drafting, he's more miss than hit.

I was against giving up compensation. He's great, but at the end of the day players win. No Kawhi, no championship.

If the Grizzlies aren't in position to draft Jackson and Morant in back to back years, they aren't as good as they are now.

If Minnesota doesn't take two PGs not named Curry, the Warriors never have the success they have now.

The Lakers were pretty dysfunctional for a good part of the decade, then LeBron decides he wants to live in LA and everything changed.

There is a lot of luck involved with building a good team. The Spurs pre and post Duncan are another example. They went from a franchise where everything they touched turned to gold, to now being extremely ordinary. Pop and Buford didn't become bad, they just don't have that player anymore to hitch everything to.

All I ask for at this point is a front office that is forward thinking. I hope this is the case now.

Yes, depending on who the GM is that they bring in, this may change my view.

Dolan refused to sell the team but gladly sold his soul.

    It's his to sell.

I think this is kind of gross.

If it means a perennial contender? I will be thrilled.

With Mitchell signing with a different agency, I wonder if he's gone?

I'm legitimately worried about Mitch being with Rich Paul. I expect an extension sooner rather than later now. Highly doubt that he finishes the contract he's currently on. That was probably the main motivation for the move.
