Yeah..Luke Kennard's minutes are monitored by the Pistons.

Pistons have the 3rd largest cap space ($34.9M) and only Christian Wood to re-sign. Assuming they outbid everyone else (because they can)...

    PF: Christian Wood
    SF: Sekou Doumbouya
    C: Blake Griffin
    PG: Tyrese Halliburton
    SG: Derrick Rose

    Off the bench: Luke Kennard.

If Detroit is moving Kennard, hes shot..

    Otherwise, why would they?

Good question. He is the exact type of player we are missing though. Doesnít have all the physical gifts but great learned skill- shooting, foot work, half court feel.

Thatís just it. He has skills everyone needs. Still young, didnít even hit RFA yet. Wouldnít they like a guy like that sticking around? Itís not like they arenít going to be able to afford him. After next year, they will likely only have 2 players on the books, not counting drafted players this year and next. And Blakes contract is done after 21-22

No clue if heís still on the block, but they tried trading him last season.

Yeah, I know thereís been a lot of talk. I just question why a team thatís going to be rebuilding, and looking for young talent would want to move him. Unless heís damaged goods, or they are looking for a haul back for him. Wouldnít they want a 24 year old 6í5 legit shooter around. Thatís the kind of guy youíre looking for

Detroit ain't stupid. They have more championships than the Knicks. IF they're moving Kennard then there's a very good reason why. Luke is a bench player in Detroit which means his health is a question.
