When Will Anthony Davis start playing like Anthony Davis?

We saw a few flashes in the first month of the season, but we need NOLA AD. The guy dominating with 40+ points and 20+ rebounds and 7-8 blocks.

    Where is that dude ?!!

He used to instill fear in opponents. A headache to deal with defensively.

As much as we talk about trade for this and trade for that ... STOP IT!

You have Anthony frikkin Davis WITH LeBron James!!!

I need league MVP + DPOY top 2 player in the world AD to show up!

Screw the gluteus max injury. I KNOW Kobe would play thru it and would play thru it well!

If this guy is our next franchise leader, then he better start dominating and showing up like one!

He’s fine, he looked rusty last game but he’s had some bug games his season. The real problem is not having the playmaking to create open easy looks for him other than Lebron James. As soon as Lebron sits, AD almost becomes just another player out there, Kuzma has 0playmaking ability, Rondo has been absolutely trash this season and Caruso is ineffective in the PnR.... we desperately need a playmaking guard with a high PnR percentile to get AD really rolling while Lebron sits. There’s absolutely NO REASON why we should have a Negative Net rating with just AD on the floor.... a Negative Net rating with a top 5 player on the floor is mind boggling

Then we gotta point the finger at our new VP of B-ball operations and GM Rob Lowe

But what happened to the whole idea of AD being able to handle the rock and being able to create for himself and being versatile?

There’s some areas that AD can take upon himself but he doesn’t.

Maybe he is pacing himself for the playoffs. I have that feeling on some games. He is just coasting and limiting the chances for injuries. Which did not work obviously.

AD had some monster games and some average games but I will judge him on the playoffs, if he man up fine, if he plays like a fragile guy then we'll have a problem.

    Collison would be great ...

But defensively, we’d still have zero answer for Kawhi Leonard in a 7 game series. No matter how great of a backup point guard we have with that second unit.

The thing with Collison is it opens up every possibility to use the assets to grab a defensive wing.

Them red flags were there when he was still in NO. Im probably the only one who never bought into AD completely, I've accepted it and moved on. I've also have said it's crucial to win now when we got LBJ because I don't expect much from AD after LBJ leaves. He's not a leader and doesn't make teammates better. He's a perfect 2nd option.
