Clearly is not all about the numbers because other guys would of gotten in and a guy like Baines would still be out.

Also Penny deserves a vote for the way he looked and still be able to bag some prime *****.

The PED users are an exception because there are still voters that don't like how Bonds, Clemens, cheated. That's starting to change though as we are seeing increased support for those guys as more of the older voters are replaced by younger ones.

The veterans committee put in Baines. That's old boy's club type nepotism.

Glad Walker got it, he deserved it sooner. Schilling clearly belongs and voters are just giving him the Jeff Kent treatment, who also clearly belongs. If either of them have credible PED allegations I'm not aware of it and retract what I said if so. And no hitting in front of Bonds doesn't count.

If itís all about the numbers guys who deserved it that are out would be in a guy like Walker would not have to wait till his 10th year.

It may be trending in that direction because a guy like Schilling will make it next year, but itís not all about the numbers yet.

Am ok with players not getting 100% votes, but if their first ballot they should get in their first time around.

I think it's hilarious that Mariano is the only unanimous. He's probably not even a top 200 player all time.

Apparently Cowherd was the one guy with a HOF vote who didn't choose Jeter.

Never seen his show but I instinctively hate him based on his promos. This one silly act redeems him in my eyes.

Difference between suspicions and guys who have been determined as obvious users (McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Clemens, etc)

Doesn't change my point. Jeter should have been unanimous.

Seems to me that he's just tying to get ratings and that's a terrible reason to not vote for someone.

He could have been but meh....who cares. It's a huge honor whether you are a unanimous choice, make it easily in your first attempt, or make it by a **** hair years down the line.
