AEW 1/15: Bash at The Beach

It's been a few weeks since we had a AEW thread, and tomm night, AEW is bringing back a WCW Classic, Bash at The Beach.

Cody Rhodes wants to fight MJF but MJF has some demands.

    1. First Cody can not touch MJF until Revolution.

    2. Cody must be whipped ten times with a belt by MJF

    3. Cody must have Wardlow in a cage match.

If all that happens, the match happens, Will Cody say yes?

Jon Moxley made a fool of Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle by pretending to join them, now Moxley must face Sammy Guevara. Will The Inner Circle get their revenge?

Kris Statlander refused to join The Nightmare Collective so now Mel and Awesome Kong will face Kris, but she has backup in Shida.

    Also on the card:

    Number one contenders match

Adam Page and Kenny Omega vs "Proud and Powerful" Santana and Ortiz vs "The Best Friends" Chuck Taylor and Trent Baretta vs "The Young Bucks" Matt and Nick Jackson

    Darby Allin vs Pac

The Butcher, The Blade, and MJF VS QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes, and DDP
Fan of Red Sox , Chicago Bears , Boston Celtics , Chase Elliott , UVA, Joshi Puroresu

2018-2019 UVA Men's Basketball National Champions

Wasnít Bash at the Beach a PPV? So they give their regular wednesday night show a PPV name to make it appear as a big deal and we donít know the card besides those three matches listed...

Out of curiosity, how is AEW able to use a WCW PPV name? Is this somehow not owned by WWE as part of buying WCW?

I will predict right now that the tag team extravaganza will be non-stop rehearsed looking acrobat stuff that hardly resembles a real fight like wrestling is supposed to. I can see the staged sequence already where all teams take turns hitting their main move on another team, Nick & Matt hitting their obligatory double superkick, over-the-top-rope dives all over the place, Kenny and Adam getting into it causing them to lose, etc. Santana and Ortiz will probably win because none of the other teams make sense to feud with USC for the tag titles.

Well the set looked great. The match went almost exactly as I expected except for the winners (which at least is a positive).

Alright, thanks. I assumed it would have to be something like that.

I only watched a bit since I was busy, but you're right. The set looked unique and felt interesting. They did a pretty good job and I imagine kept a pretty low budget. Nothing looked super pricey, nor did it need to.
Prior to 11/1/19: if you were on my ignore list, I was sticking to ignoring you thanks to great advise.
From 11/1/19 on: I will no longer be responding to comments back to people on my ignore list.

Think long and hard about why you respond to nonsense. Please!
