We have draft capital, but enough to BOTH send picks for Williams AND move around tonight...do we?

I mean, if there's someone we like in the 2nd we'd need to move up for, we may not have the capital after that to also give the Skins what they want......unless they'd accept a future pick

if they want all picks, I'm almost inclined to say good luck, we'll draft a tackle instead
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

I donít see the point in trading multiple picks to move up in the draft for an unproven offensive tackle. We might as well just trade that pick or 2 for an All-Pro LT thatís one of the best in the sport. I understand heís 31 and weíre going to have to pay him, but Rick is not in the position to gamble on offensive line this year. He has to get this right.

He had a great start to the draft last night and he has the ammunition to make this one of the most memorable drafts in recent history for this team. Iím excited to watch this thing unfold!!

I Think Washington is being to stubborn about Williams. They will let this draft come and go and he will get released as the only option available to them. Rick probably knows the Vikings are the only buyer left and if tonight comes and goes they will be able to sign him as FA. We'll see what happens..... Hard to imagine a trade happening during the draft unless it's already done and just needs to be filed/announced.

If we trade up for a Tackle We'll know the deal is dead and move on.

There are still some great WRs and CBs left in this draft. I wouldn't mind double dipping and getting one more of each tonight.

What sense would it make for Washington to not trade him for a 4th-5th round pick and cut him instead? At this point they almost have to trade him if they donít want to look like complete idiots. In my opinion this is their last ditch effort to drive up the price a little before they have to bite the bullet. We just need to stick to our guns.

I really wonder if he could be our slot corner.

And they pass. Jones and Cleveland keep falling. Board looks great for the Vikings.

The board is going to look great. I'm still hoping Winfield Jr is still there.

On a side note, I did not expect Dobbins to slip like this. Let alone have 3 runners picked before him.

Definitely shocked Dobbins is still available.
