I have no clue how anyone could pass on him in the third round. The gamble is well worth the risk

I agree. He has a lot of the same qualities as Russell Wilson. I read heís been praised for leadership too.

As I was reading VCU response this was exactly what I was going to ask. How does he compare to Russ? He sure in hell does show some of those same attributes.

Imagine if we had a QB who could maneuver the pocket and scramble. Seattle doesnít have a great OL or even a good OL but it doesnít seem to be too much of an issue because of Wilson. Honestly we could win a SB with our OL if Wilson was our QB.

From what Iíve been reading it sounds like Hurts will be picked early 3rd round or late 2nd round, top 75. If we could pick say a CB and DT with our first 2 picks and then trade up in the 3rd for Hurts that would be a hell of a start IMO. Move on from Cousins next year and use the cap savings to round out the team. Risky strategy but huge upside if we can develop Hurts. I wish we still had Stefanski but I read Klint Kubiak has done good work with Cousins.

If we can't end up with Love or Eason in the early rounds, I'd like James Morgan of FIU or Kevin Davidson of Princeton to be our "development" QB on Day 3. Still don't want Hurts unless its a late round pick.

Probably? But how does a guy go from being a top 10 pick in 2016 to undrafted? What happened? I'm going to go look.

Sounds to me, and I do recall this, his arm strength is the biggest factor here. Like worse than Teddy B coming in.

Yea it was his last two years after John Ross left. Apparently Browning was only good because of Ross.

Yup, I like the kid, but I want a quarterback who has tools to develop. Tired of noodle armed QBs.

With Stefon being such a cry baby drama queen, I donít think itís worth drafting his brother.

Hope so. Though this does remind me of the Percy Harvin saga. Never thought that he would get traded and then there he went.
