I read the Dolphins are pursuing Thuney. I would love both them as well but I don't think that's realistic.

We might see some free agents signed starting Monday after 4. At that point no players signed will count towards the comp formula.

I got a kick out of media talking like Jameis Winston made such a smart decision, signing (at 4:01 tomorrow) with the Saints to be Brees' backup. Umm, there was no starting job left, no other offers coming in, and it's not coincidental this came together the day AFTER the draft...because I'm betting there was a QB the Saints thought about pulling the trigger on in the draft that just didn't happen.

Can it become a good move for Crab Legs? Certainly...but it wasn't some intelligent calculated decision on his part.

Now, who might WE sign? I'm thinking Dre Kirkpatrick is one. Jason Peters could be a perfect placeholder for Ezra depending on what they do with Reiff. And...would Everson lower his expectations enough to come back...he did say he'd prefer to play his entire career in purple earlier this offseason. Obviously there are other guys who could make sense depending on salary expectations.....for example, which Zeke Ansah is the current real one- the Lions version or the Seahawk version?

I wouldn't mind trying to get Griffen back one more year at all.

I mostly hope we can sign/trade for a guard at some point though, feel that is the clear biggest need right now.

Doogie tweeted he thinks the Vikings might add a veteran corner. Curious to see if we actually go that route. Would make a lot of sense considering how young our corners are. Not sure if he would be willing to drop his asking price down a bunch to sign here but Logan Ryan would be a great fit. He has experience playing inside and outside. Both Hughes and Gladney are in the same boat. Ryan would be a nice pick up. If not Ryan, Kirkpatrick is an obvious choice given his ties to Zimmer. Thereís a bunch of veteran corners on the market so Iíll be content with any of them. Even Talib is an interesting name.

Yeah. He would have been a perfect fit with his speed. Too bad we don't do free agency around these parts....

Yup because we didnít sign a 35 year old receiver coming off a 400 yard season that clearly shows this team has no interest in winning.
