At this point, I don't think so. Unless he gets Cleveland job honestly.

Groh and walch were the ones that needed to go. Addition by subtraction

Press Taylor can go too. These were the 2 that definitely had to go though. I doubt Schwartz is going anywhere and quite frankly I'm not sure that he should. Even if his sticks coverage and reluctance to blitz other than as a last resort is frustrating.

Yesterday Doug said they'd be back. Today they're fired... Something tells be that going into next season, Doug isn't as safe as you'd think

I think Schwartz has proven he can run a top D but doesn't have all the personnel he wants. The GM brought in some of his former guys from the Bills, but the ones the Bills let go were the less-good ones. Just needs to get some of the right players in the draft to make the D great.

Why would Doug not be safe? The division isn't great, but he made the playoffs the last three years with significantly worse injuries every time. If anyone's job shouldn't be safe it's Howie's because the roster is old AF.

    That's silly.

Doug won a SB and ended a drought, he's good until there's some losing seasons.

Because it's never a good sign when members of the coaching staff are fired and it's not the coaches choice.

Why are they forcing him to fire members of his staff then? Unless he's just a liar... But in that case, he wouldn't last much longer anyways

Where do you see he was forced.

    I just think he misspoke.

Lurie made the call. Doug was apparently expecting to keep them.

It's a weird situation but I don't see how it makes Doug's job unsafe. This is a guy who won a SB and made the playoffs every time since then. It's not like he's been coaching the Broncos.
