Oh really? I hadn't seen that noted anywhere. That's a good thing at least.

Matt Rhule was arguably a top 2 coaching prospect (next to Rivera) this offseason. Said to be an "infectiously" strong leader at Baylor. Touch him or walk by him and you can feel his leadership - that kind of infectious. Has the makings of an NFL HC and has NFL support in the coaching ranks.

He was the Giants #1 target and I believe they rush-hired Joe Judge partially to try to save face. That sounds ridiculous but it seems like the sort of thing Gettleman would do.

As always, college-to-HC is boom or bust but I get the feeling Rhule will be solid.
The Baker has come. Believe the hype.

Gotta fix the defense/o-line. And possibly QB as well. Heís got his work cut out for him but he does have some very nice talent on the roster especially at the skill positions.

Probably because you have one of the best coaches and dont have to wade through all the potential candidates. Most people had Rhule as the top HC candidate and many thought Dallas would buy him. I don't keep up with college enough so I honestly don't know what to expect but he flipped Perdue and Baylor from trash to competitors in 3 seasons each, meaning he likely was maximizing the talent already there since those aren't attractive places for big recruits and he turned them around before his recruiting classes would've been well developed.

Having the richest owner is finally paying off. He could straight up wipe his *** with 70M, so it's almost unfair. I'm really surprised they don't make teams put a portion of HC money on the salary cap, otherwise rich teams can just buy the top coaches.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

It's so weird that a team would promote the WRs coach when McDaniels is still supposedly interviewing for an HC gig.

Rhule was actually at Temple for years and got his first HC gig there. Turned them into a winning team for a couple years.
