Just curious if Miami would let Rosen go inside the conference.

Perhaps Buffalo sniped Fromm from NE, not sure. Definitely seems like a future salary move next year to let Barkley go - as we are going to need a lot of money for Tre White, Dawkins, Milano, Edmunds in the future.

Was a little surprised by the kicker pick. I know he was Kiper's #1 kicker, but after a little rough patch it seemed like Haushaka played well at the end of last year. Between Fromm and Bass, just seems like succession planning.

If Haushaka beats out bass, can we even keep bass? or does he just get cut?

Also, just read Bass might just be a kick off specialist.

Little tid-bit I just saw from the Buffalo New...

"...It’s very hard for any team to find room on the 53-man roster for a kickoff specialist. However, new rules allow for 12 guys on the practice squad (up from 10), and two of them can be active every week. It’s perfect for a kickoff specialist, and good for the Bills for being progressive thinkers by drafting Bass. Only three kickers were drafted. What are the odds of a team poaching a kickoff specialist from the Bills’ practice squad? Slim. A lot less than poaching a positional player."

The more I'm watching game film on Epenesa and reading about this kid, the more I really love this pick. I believe he could have an Aaron Schobel-like career for us.

Yeah it looks like we added 3 really solid everyday players who will be here for at least 4 years in diggs, espenesa and moss.

I saw some clip of this Bass kicker, kicking a FG 50 yards without taking a step. And 60 yards with taking like 1 1/2 steps.

We lost a few games last season because of Hauschka. The Cleveland game comes to mind. Bass will be given a chance.

I saw a Carlos Dunlap comparison for Epenesa. I'd take that kind of production. I love that he isn't just a pass rusher, but also someone who prides himself on helping stop the run. I have a strong feeling that he's going to become a fan favorite very quickly.

I’ve been reading a lot of “he’s too slow off the edge” talk regarding Epenesa and opinions (from fans, mind you) that he’s a very unspectacular pick. And to that I say... Kyle Williams!

Don’t undersell just what a good football player A.J. is. He prides himself in stopping the run. He doesn’t just want to be an edge rusher. I keep saying “blue collar” about this kid and that’s what he is. So much of his makeup reminds me of Kyle Williams. The kind of player who just year after year comes to play hard. Mark my words, A.J. Epenesa will be viewed as one of the heart and soul guys on this defense in the near future. He’s going to be a Kyle Williams in Buffalo. Fans will love him and he won’t get near the attention he deserves outside of Buffalo.

This pick is going to go down as one of the best that Beane ever made here. You’ll see!

I agree. He fits perfectly with our team makeup and also the types of players Buffalo fans love.
