OT makes sense because the position drops off in a hurry after the 2nd round. There's still some decent Guard depth after that, but you're likely not finding much more than a swing Tackle after that.

My only concern is it's usually an overdrafted position, so we may not even have much of chance at guys like Jackson, Niang, and a couple others.

I just really want to see a move towards a power blocking scheme.

Why not double up on OL in the 2nd! lol. I know we need a WR bad though.

Id respect this even though i would hate it. I still think u can get quality guards in this draft late.... and one of those 2 has to be a guard right. At least they are showing an effort to correct arguably our bigest question mark.

I mean personally i could see

    OT at 43

Trade down at 50 for a 3rd and 4th( maybe more)

Use the 3rd on a guard and a 4th on a S. Both positions are probably deep enough you could at least find compitition level players right.

We need to possibly go best Saftey or WR at 43 and oL at 50 or trade down

We don't really have the personnel for power blocking. Pace has drafted OL (strictly IOL since he's been here) with plus athleticism and questionable strength (I'm being kind here).

Leno and Massie are probably gone after this season anyway, but you'd also have to overhaul the interior if you wanted to shift to a PBS.

I think trading down from either 43 or 50 is the right move. If you move down to the 80-90 range then you should be able to get that plus at least a 4th and 6th.

There's enough WR depth to wait IMO. I'd target S or OL with that top pick.

That's true, probably ruins idea of a pbs with this staff

I know guards can be found later, but obviously you theoretically have a shot at higher level talent the earlier you go.

Pace has been really good in my opinion. As every GM he has some hits and misses but I love that heís willing to swing for the fences. I cannot forgive him for the Mitch move no matter what. It was that egregious. Itís not just passing up on Watson and Mahomes but to trade up to get Mitch and not even meet with Watson is inexcusable. I forgive him for the other 1st round gaffes. I was excited about K. White and understood Leonard

A lot of his trade ups have been really unnecessary. It's like he gets so locked in on a player that he has to get them no matter what.

He's made similar mistakes in FA too, but none of them have been as crippling as the Mitch whiff.

Only scenario in which Mitch is starting in W1 is if Foles is injured and can't go. Nagy knows his job is on the line this season and he's not going to start a guy he has no confidence in.

I've got Foles in as W1 starter, barring injury.

I agree with this. Foles job to lose IMO.
