Personally, I agree with them. I don't mean to sound argumentative, so please don't take it like that. I agree that he could be good again if he stays healthy. The problem is his success hinges directly on his running ability and defenses guarding against him taking off or getting those short yardage situations because of his size. This will negatively affect his health and create a short season or one where he plays unhealthy. In order for him to stay healthy, I think he needs to strictly be a pocket passer, and I think he's average at best at that. Just my opinion.

He's like Vick, RG3 or Jackson in that regard. His success is solely based on his athleticism and not is actual ability as a passing QB. when Vick was started to age, done. When RG3 was hurt, done. When/if Jackson gets hurt, done.

Rodgers, Mahommes are similar with the scrambling but also have amazing accuracy as a pocket passer. As they age, they stay dominate. I do not think the same for Cam. If he's slower or not as strong, done. He will not be starting as a qb in his mid-late 30s.

Would be a great addition. Huge upside there, especially at the right deal. Then draft an OT in the 2nd or 3rd (trade down scenario).

Maybe he'd come in on a very cheap 1 year deal to rebuild value. We have no money right now and will need to continue restructuring contracts to afford the draft class.

He hinted at that possibility in a Barstool interview during Super Bowl week. He was signed on to call games for FOX before he went to play for the Dolphins.
