And of course Dallas is taking care of business versus the Rams

Would anyone be interested in bringing back Adam Gase as OC, if the Jets show him the door after this season?

He was so solid last year. Top ten receiving tight end, solid blocker.

Honestly, better off crossing our fingers and hoping he comes back healthy next year. The cap hit is just too great to cut him and pay someone else.

Burton almost certainly will be back in 2020. He was never right this year, hopefully all of the down time allows him to get there.
    Long - gone
    Gabriel - gone
    Prince - gone
    Daniel - gone
    Shaheen - gone
    Dix - probably gone
Trevathan, I'd love to have back - but if he wants too much $$$ Kwitkowski has been pretty good.

I think Pat Shurmur would be an option, assuming he is let go and we move on from Helfrich. Comes from the Andy Reid tree, good OC history, knows the NFC north.

A part of me wonders if any of that even matters; we all know who will be calling the plays.

I'd add Floyd to that list too.

Yeah Shurmur would indeed seem ideal, if fired.

Shurmur. If I were Pace I’d mandate it. Nagy has shown he’s not a good play caller but excels in play design and leadership.

So who do you bring back, Trevathan or Kwitkowski? Or neither? Kwitkowski younger, probably cheaper. Trevathan has been great, a great leader, has had injury issues in his career, will likely cost more. Is Kwitkowski a flash in the pan this season and signing him longer term to replace Trevathan too much of a risk? Do both get let go? Interesting decision here and to be honest I don’t have faith Pace will make the right one.

If they pick up Floyd’s option they are idiots. Shown nothing to get that kind of money and tie up cap space. We need someone opposite Mack who can rush the passer much more consistently.

They've already picked up Floyd's option. You have to pick it up before the 4th year. It can be rescinded though, unless he's injured, then it's guaranteed.

Pace will confirm moron status if he doesn’t rescind the tag
