Are the options going to be much better next season? One last year of a commitment Trubisky is pretty much a throw away season. They wait until next year and decide to go with Trubisky yet again in 2021 because they donít see ďmore attractive ď options then you are talking 20 something million for Trubisky in 2021. We canít keep going on with this guy

I think if Dalton is who you end up with, then you still move on from Mitch, then draft a guy. Don't waste time with a QB competition. Offset about $5M of Dalton's contract by trading Mitch for a 7th. Then draft Eason in the 2nd.

That'd be my approach, at least.

Ehh not in that camp , if the QB vet we get isnít a substantial upgrade then it makes no sense to move Mitch. Lets see how he reacts to this situation and with Defillippo who is a better QB coach than he was OC . Still draft a guy to project but yea not giving Mitch away until we see how he responds to the new circumstances. Regardless who is behind center we wonít get far if the blocking and run game remind nonexistent

I agree. You need to put someone like Dalton in and who knows, maybe like Tannehill last year with the Titans you strike gold. Its not like Dalton hasnít had very productive seasons. As you do this you do your very best to draft a potential guy.

These names being rumored better be plans D and F.

It does make me wonder if they're pursuing someone like Carr under the radar though.
I mean theyíd be dumb as **** if they were just exploring options now. Theyíve had this laid out for weeks. We are just seeing the options floated out there now.
