Its such a split second reaction, all it takes is a slight delay and you're done. That's what I believe happened.

I think they focused on trying to be more of a pocket passer, and he took it too literally and refused to scramble lol

The story goes Ö the theory is Ö The Bears are Super Bowl contenders, if only they had a Kicker, I mean a QB. In comes Rivers who at 38 or 39 only has to be AVERAGE and SB55 here we come!

Mitch is most likely gone in 2021, and if Rivers replaces him he's gone in 2022 at the latest. What he does is prove or disprove some things and buys the team time to find a suitable, long term replacement.
Dalton might work, Mariota - maybe, Brady isn't happening. Nobody wants Foles, my first choice is Derek Carr.

To be fair, every QB available in FA is going to be a stop gap.

I agree with that, but Cam/Carr/Tannehill/Mariota are the ones that have the potential to be someone you have for the next 3-5 seasons.

Barring health (Cam) and being very bad (Mariota) . Rivers and Brady are essentially one year deals, and they were both so bad last year it makes me think they don't have a chance of bouncing back (age considered)

I request the hardest of passes on Winston, he acts like he's throwing in pitch black darkness.

No I get it lol, he has some high level talent, he even said himself if he could cut his turnovers down he thinks he would be the best, he may be right, but someone has to tell him that taking a sack or throwing it away isn't the devil lol

On a side note, I think I hate Chiefs fans, they have to be one of the most obnoxious fan bases not named the Eagles I've ever seen, and it's worse that I live in Missouri and have to hear them talk **** about us passing on Mahomes.

Lol...let them have their fun. It is pretty funny if you think about....the bears could have had the future Goat but ended up with Mitch Trubisky. You canít be any more Bears than that lol.
