Is there really a high risk though? Did he leave locker rooms in shambles? Its obvious that Pittsburgh has a **** show of a culture anyway lol with all of the drama.

One game with NE tells me the Patriots did not want him around them any longer. He would have to come "Cam Newton" cheap before the Bears should be interested.

AB was released because he was accused of rape not because he did anything bad in the locker room . Some of the teammates were upset that the pats did it including Brady. They were trying to separate from that issue especially with their own issues regarding that issue

Several New England Patriots players privately voiced their displeasure with the team's decision to release receiver Antonio Brown, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Some players in the locker room felt Brown had made a positive impression on teammates in his 11 days with the Patriots, Rapoport reports, believing he did things in practice that others couldn't.

However, the decision to cut ties with the volatile wideout came from team owner Robert Kraft after intimidating text messages from Brown to a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct came to light, sources told Rapoport. The Patriots also were under the impression that the end of the off-field drama wasn't near.

I agree with you. He has to be cheap, it would need to be an incentive laden deal.

Whats the deal with all the stories with him. The accused rape? that was the main issue. idk if he was ever cleared. if its still ongoing.

To me he seems like a headcase The type of guy the media is going to just annoy the coaching staff over ... and I think the coaching staff has enough to worry about with the QB compitition and little to no time to prepare this offseason.

FWIW... i would rather sign Josh Gordon. At least we know his issues. I think brown is a ticking time bomb.

Absolutely. The talent is real but so is the risk.

Very true. Miller has the talent but AB wouldn't be a great influence.

He has a lot of issues and would be a risk. I'd be happy to take a flyer on Gordon as well.

But would AB put his ego aside and be the #3 on the Bears?

idk if he would be #3 here...... i personally question if he would want to play with either of our QBs though..... i mean he kinda threw a hissy fit about the raiders.... and something tells me Carr had something to do with it.

    Really good point.

As far as AB goes, I think the best thing for him is to get away from football for a year (or more) and seek professional help. I feel like any situation in the league is going to end poorly for him until he does that and he takes it seriously.

Despite the talent, I would not reward AB would be a 1 or 2 on this team.

If we sign AB, who gives a crap about Anthony Miller or how he's influenced? He'll be a backup on the depth chart and he's only signed through next year. If we sign AB, we're basically punting on Miller's career.

Whether or not the Bears are ready to give up on Miller is a huge question in whether or not to even discuss signing AB. I don't think it's a likely fit. There's probably not many teams interested in AB anyway, I especially expect the Bears aren't one of them.
