Iím seeing Heat Hawks and Celtics have checked in on Steven Adams.

Miami definitely wants a big and a 3 and D perimeter guy

Minny is approaching this the wrong way. They are sitting in a potential gold mine right now. I say blow it up

    http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine

    Dlo to the Knicks
    KAT to the Warriors
And Minny gets all the draft picks

Then trade Roco for more assets

I am definitely hoping the Celtics make a move. A big man, move Theis back to the bench to add depth. Also, a solid shooter would be nice considering our bench shoots like 30% from 3

We should try and get Josh Jackson from Memphis with Iggy. With our development team weíll get the most out of him and theres a good chance we could retain him on a very solid long term deal if we extend him and he then lives up to his potential.

Oh yea they are from what Iím seeing outside of Carroll and maybe Marco. I thought you were just saying in general it wasnít bad to just stand pat with what you have and it isnít always necessary to make moves at the deadline.

Nba trade deadline ideas your thoughts?

    1. CELTICS & KNICKS.

    - KNICKS ACQUIRE F G.HAYWARD & 2-2020 1ST RD PICKS(GRIZZLES PICK & BUCKS PICK) FROM CELTICS IN EXCHANGED FOR F/C'S MARCUS MORRIS & JULIUS RANDLE.

WHY CELTICS? MUCH NEEDED FRONT-COURT PRESENCE. MORRIS, A PLAYER FAMILIAR WITH COACH STEVENS' SYSTEM, WOULD BE WELCOME BACK W/OPEN ARMS. JULIUS RANDLE, YOUNGER/CHEAPER, COULD PLAY THE AL HORFORD ROLE.

WHY KNICKS? THEY PLAY IT SMART AND USE THEIR CAP FLEXIBILITY TO ACQUIRE DRAFT-ASSETS. HAYWARD, though his contract is atrocious, doesn't put a damper on their 2021/2022 fa hopes, as his contract expires next season(Player option of 35m that he won't decline).

    2. 4 way blockbuster: ATL/GSW/MIN/HOU.

    - HAWKS GET CAPELA.
    - HAWKS TRADE A.LEN, E.TURNER, J.PARKER, NETS 2020 LOTTERY PROTECTED 1ST, & THUNDER 2022 LOTTERY PROTECTED 1ST

    - WARRIORS GET A.CRABBE, J.PARKER, 2020 MINNESOTA UNPROTECTED 1ST & THUNDER 2022 LOTTERY PROTECTED 1ST(V/HAWKS).
    - WARRIORS TRADE D'LO

    - WOLVES GET D'LO
    - WOLVES TRADE COVINGTON, CRABBE, AND UNPROTECTED 2020 1ST.

    - ROCKETS GET LEN, COVINGTON, AND NETS 2020 LOTTERY PROTECTED 1ST.
    - ROCKETS TRADE CAPELA.

WHY ATL? START FUTURE REBUILD. CAPELA ON TEAM-FRIENDLY CONTRACT. FITS FUTURE PLAN OF CAPELA, COLLINS, HUERTER, HUNTER, CAM, TRAE, AND FERNANDO. STILL HAVE CAP SPACE TO MAKE BIG MOVE IN 2020.

WHY MIN? THEY WANNA MAKE THEIR FRANCHISE GUY, KAT, HAPPY. A 3-HEADED MONSTER W/D-LO, KAT, AND WIGGINS.

WHY HOU? THEY GAIN A GREAT ROLE PLAYER IN COVINGTON(BEST VALUED PLAYER IN THE NBA-BASED ON CURRENT CONTRACT), A.LEN WHO SLIDES RIGHT INTO THE C SPOT, AND 2020 1ST(V/NETS).

WHY GSW? THEY GAIN CAP SPACE W/CRABBE, A PROJECT IN PARKER(PO FOR 6MIL), A FUTURE 2022 IN OKC, AND THE PICK THEY MOST COVETED.. MINNESOTA'S UNPROTECTED 1ST IN 2020. CURRENTLY 14TH PLACE IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE. GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE 2-LOTTERY PICKS IN THIS UPCOMING DRAFT TO BUILD AROUND CURRY, KLAY, AND DRAYMOND.

Why is Iggy refusing to play for Memphis? Theyíre an 8th seed and could very well be a playoff team.

I actually like these trades especially for my Celtics and we get better not just offensively but defensively as well with Randle...we get a big man on the defensive end but one that can score. Plus Julius Randle in a Coach Stevens system he would basically thrive. Plus we get Marcus Morris back for much needed depth scoring.

After listening to DA last night on the pregame I donít think we make a move at C, he seemed pretty happy with the ď3 headed monsterĒ at C (Theis Kanter RWill)

Maybe a move for a shooter off the bench tho.

At some point, you will have to consolidate and like Iggie said, maybe you should sell high on Nunn while you can. There isn't enough minutes for all you're young guys (much like my celtics). You're saying to keep them and sign a different guy with 25 mil? Ok cool, who's minutes is that guy taking?
Biggest need is replacing Meyers' minutes. He's not a starter on a championship worthy squad. Also minimizing the minutes DJJ gets off the bench and Dragic has been fantastic off the bench so far this year, who knows how many more years he has left at this level. Not many. Biggest need is by far however getting a legit C. We have zero shot blocking outside of Bam and he's our PF but closes games out at the 5 because Meyers can't block a shot to save his life.
