It looks like Clowney will be signing with the Seahawks for $17-18 million.

Nice. He was one of the few solid pieces to that D while Wilson carried the team. Theyíre a DB away from another SB run.

Living in SEA now and loving the team and fan base here. It really is crazy. Like a college football city.

The Giants are at $16.2M in cap space, per ESPN's roster management system. That doesn't include deals fof Cameron Fleming, Nate Ebner, Dion Lewis and Corey Coleman. So they're probably around $10M under the cap at the moment.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Wild how much cap we used on some average players/One really solid CB. Guess golden is highly unlikely

Depends on how much the market is for him, I guess. Haven't heard much about him, at all. Or, maybe the new coaching staff has something else in mind. Idk

Coaching staff gotta have a pass rusher in mind. Is that 10 mill with the draft included? If not they ainít spending anymore lol. Golden Iíd assume would cost 5 at the bare minimum probably close to 10

Donít forget we front loaded some of our bigger contracts. So not a lot of space now but (1) sets us up nice for next year and / or year after that and (2) itís quite easy to restructure to gain some cap space if thereís a signing we want now (Golden please)

Reserve space for rookies and then a few mil for the ďin case we need itĒ signings throughout the year....really only a couple mil if they need a post-draft FA signing.

Yeah weíre marginally better so far - maybe.

Lot of cap space for ok players, even if deals are frontloaded.

Guess we are going all in on the coaching staff and draft. Truly hope Judge and co. can make this crew a winner somehow.

    I mean they have talent

    CBs Bradbury
Young guys hopefully take a step with Baker/Beal/Balentine
    S Peppers and love
DL hill and Lawerence are young guys who can take that next step

    LBs Conlleyy/ Carter/Xman

We donít lack Talent this is a huge year for their development. Man even if two of those guys take a big ste and we add in the draft I think our defense will be a lot better

Yeah this year will be all about the coaching impact. If the talent is real and the coaching is a big step up, this team could be a lot better. But DG is not doing much with his cap space - at least on paper. Let's see.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

Am I wrong about this ? It seems to me , in FA with the exception of Bradberry and Martinez, the Giants have brought in a plethora of mediocre players ?

It reminds me of what The Knicks did in FA last year .
