Browns are fielding calls for OBJ.

I'd check in on Amari Cooper's situation 1st, especially during the combines, and then see OBJ's trade value.

Stay away from Alshon, he's owed WAY TOO MUCH money.
15m and 18m the next couple of years.
He's not the same player and can't stay healthy.

All things considered, for roughly similar money who would you prefer Cooper or OBJ?

Damn. That's tough. Cooper is a bit younger and seems to be a bit more durable. He's also way less of a diva.
    I would go Cooper.

    I would go Cooper.
Keep in mind, Cooper would cost just money, whereas OBJ would be money plus compensation.

Cooper, but OBJ seems more realistic (if the price is reasonable)

You don't think Cooper will hit FA?

Not convinced. Also there will be heavy competition for his services. If the price is equal, will he come here? I donít think that he would.

I think if we go WR outside of Round 1, I would deal for OBJ so the rookie isnít WR1 in Year 1.

I would give a 3rd and 6th for OBJ. We have an extra of each. If we somehow swung that? That would be sick. You can still get a combo of another WR, 2 OL and an Edge in the first 4 rounds.

that would be the best case scenario imo

Biggest concern with OBJ is him clashing with Gase, and Sam being caught in the middle.

While Sam needs a playmaker like OBJ, he doesn't need the the extra that seems to come with OBJ.

This is a buyer beware situation, even if the upside may be worth it.

As I said earlier, offer the 2nd 3rd round pick and a 6th rounder as a sweetener.
Anything more than that, and we either need something else in return or we look elsewhere.

No, to giving up a 2nd for OBJ.

For a 3 and a 6 I would be all over it, OBJ on the jets would be pretty cool to see.

    Not just a 3rd.

That 1st 3rd round pick is of valuable use to us.

OBJ for the 2nd 3rd rounder only.

I agree and I said the same a couple days ago. That would be an ego battle of unprecedented heights.

To me it has leas to do with Gase and more to do with Sam being caught in the middle.
OBJ criticizing Sam would be detrimental for a young QB that could use a vet presence.

Alternatively, it could hasten Gase's departure if it turns into a media storm.
