Smiley was 6'7" when he joined the Warriors, I saw one piece that he was now 6'11" with a 7'2" wingspan and still growing.

Defensively he’s already better. We likely won’t put up numbers but he strikes me as a zubac type player. Effective in his minutes.

If Smiley can keep his offensive rebounding rate up in more minutes while moving and moving the ball he'll have significant value.

The DPE was granted.

Right now I'm thinking Batum, when he's waived, may be the way to go with the vet min if he'll take it (it makes no difference to his earnings which are already guaranteed), but if they want to offer a little kicker they can use the MLE.

The DPE is probably going to be held for later.

Agreed. I’d offer the MLE to Batum and hold the DPE for trade deadline. It’s 9 mill right? If we can turn that into Rose that would be epic.

Me too. It's telling that supposedly only 1 team even asked to talk to his agent. Apparently Dwight Howard only got 1 call too.
