Hopefully for the Switch. I got rid of my Xbox because there was no baseball.

They could also be looking at Steam.

I would love for this to be true. EA started this exclusivity crap when they eliminated NFL 2K. It really wasn't fair to the fans. I probably played MLB 2K more than most people because I just wanted baseball and RBI is complete trash.

To be fair, this and EA eliminating nfl 2k is completely different. The show producers still have mlb rights. But the producer was Sony owned, so thats why it was PS4 only. Sounds like this was a situation where mlb required them to expand to other consoles to continue their partnership.

Until the Show does literally anything to improve RTTS or their Franchise mode, the game will continue to be complete trash. The only thing they do each year is a roster update and update the graphics.

OOTP destroys them when it comes to building an actual gaming engine.

Franchise mode needs a major overhaul. Haven't touched rtts in years.

Wish I enjoyed ootp but I want to be able to actually play the games too.

I totally understand that, hopefully they eventually get into a console mode like they have been hoping for for years.

Still, no other baseball game does so close to what an actual front office does and the player career arcs are actually realistic.

Ya i remember you and I chatting about it a couple years ago. The concept is cool and seems very realistic, just missed actually playing 9 innings.

From what I recall, when EA did that, 2K (Take Two) responded by getting exclusive MLB rights, which in turn ended MVP Baseball. I've never played The Show but I thought I read that it is very similar to MVP or a more modernized version of it. I could be wrong about that.
