    Still had Zeke, Gallup, Cobb.

Stop. What Wentz just did was pretty impressive, give some credit and move on.

    Needed a win. Got it.

Name a worse roster offensively in football than what Wentz had tonight.

Tweet of the night from Chris Long:

This dude is out here in the rainstorm from the notebook, wearing gloves, throwing to dudes with shadow pictures on the team website.... just to catch **** on the timeline.

Generally speaking, I think it takes a very special set of circumstances for someone to be impressed with a veteran QB's play against a team like the Giants. I think being down to three practice squad players on almost every down (Scott, Ward Jr and Perkins), having only a single WR, having your 4th or 5th string RB, down your all-pro RT and the rain creates that type of a circumstance.

Good on Wentz for finding success there. Definitively had some help (namely the aforementioned practice squaddie, Boston Scott), but deserves the credit for a season saving second half. That's probably the worst offensive supporting cast to take the field all year (looking at the OT drive, especially) and they got it done. Doesn't have to be pretty to find a bit of beauty in the thing.

Good... With Denver winning games, I needed the Eagles to win because we're already sitting outside the top 10 in the draft... Don't want to fall too much lower

Josh McCown was almost deployed as an emergency WR last night.

That sums it up ladies and gents.

Is it possible that Wentz is a good QB?
