Letís assume we get a new DC:

Letís throw some names out there currently:

    1) Ron Rivera
    2) Rex Ryan
    3) Mike McCarthy (I think he was a defense of guy)

Feel free to add whoever youíd like to consider...

If we did...I would rather have a new D-coordinator rather than an ex-head coach.

I think Rivera could be a good hire as our DC. Chances are though if Matty P and Boob Quinn are still here they'll bring in another puppet DC. Rumor is already flying that they may look at Jerod Mayo from New England.

is PP already gone? I just commented in another thread I hope he's gone lol

anyway, the weird thing is how we keep getting credit for figuring out the elite offenses. Rams last year, Chiefs this year. but we always lose the games because we're the Lions.

therefore, I've determined it doesn't matter who the **** we sign, we'll still be the Lions

I think Rivera gets a head coaching job next year. Washington is in need of a coach and wouldn't be surprised if they went after him. Mike McCarthy is a strong candidate for Carolina's opening. Although Jerod Mayo isn't bad choice. I think another choice is Kris Richard from the Cowboys if he doesn't get a head coaching gig somewhere.

I'd be ok with keeping the current DC if that means the Fords sell the team.

Here are a few things guys that should be looked at to replace.

    1. Al Golden - Linebacker play is aweful maybe Golden isn't the issue but Davis has not progressed much at all.
    2. Jeff Davidson - again not sure if its him really but maybe Bevell's run blocking scheme does not match his techniques. Again it could be quality of players but it really seems like one or two guys consistently miss a block assignment or confusion among blocking assignments.
    3. Chris White- Tightends were bad yet again this year and I have watched Jesse James play and he was never this bad in Pitt. Again maybe we start to see Bevell get some support for offense with guys he familiar with not sure though.
    4. Bo Davis - Defensive line was terrible in every facet of the game...again it could be a talent thing but the last 10 games last year defense did not transition to this year at all. It could be injuries Hand and Daniels were the same position and that could be a huge difference. Also it really seemed like Ashawn Robinson really dropped off this year we need a penetrating DT to go with Harrison though.
