Bauer is still my #1 target. His driveline guys would also bring in some new perspective to the organization, which has clearly benefited the Reds.

Sign Morton on top of that along with a guy like Kluber and shiiiiit. That’s a good rotation. Obviously signing 3 guys is unlikely but I can dream.

Still, prioritize Bauer. Offer him like 5/150 and call it a day.

So far I love the guy. I know a couple of years ago there was BS negativity with him and the NY papers, and we really don't know what kind of an owner he is going to be. But for the most part...at the very beginning of his ownership...I love the fact he is reaching out and communicating with fans. He seems approachable and has no problem being on social media. He has given hope, just by being himself, to many and all Mets fans. It won't always be rainbows and cupcakes, especially with fans.

But now let's see him help put together a winning team.

So the Mets were just a small part of the thing. They cared more about the brand they would of created at citified and SNY, but the baseball part would of been an afterthought.
