They're definitely taking that run-stuffing one-trick DT from Auburn.

I can't wait to laugh about it.

I wanted Brown at first but that LB from Clemson is going to be a future HOF. I'd take him without thinking about it.

who is your choice? so I can laugh at whoever it is because if he's a Lion, he'll fail

Whether we take Brown, the OSU DB, Tua, or any other human on earth, it'll be a fail of a pick. So let's all laugh together!

silly lions, NFL isn't for kids

They were also quoted saying they planned on having a full staff for the senior bowl and not they seemingly are back peddling on that with this:
Will have more on this later, but Patricia said he didn't want to rush hiring process. Team has deep group of assistants (18-20 coaches, he said) to fill voids since Senior Bowl about fundamentals, not scheme.
via Justin Rogers of the detnews

So either they can't find anyone or are waiting for coaches from KC or SF. Then again this isn't a huge surprise given the mandate of win now, who is gonna join a sinking ship?

The Chiefs OC will be a good potential new head coach

Speaking of stupidity, it keeps coming:
Going through the Senior Bowl broadcast with Patricia mic'd up. Found this quote to a defensive end interesting:

"No one that rushes the passer well uses finesse. Itís all power."

I'm about to misdirect for a minute because I was doing random searches for "you gotta be kidding me" type stuff and learned that former Michigan RB Chris Howard (from the 97 championship team) was married to Gabrielle Union for 5 years

The Lions are Chris Howard, and Gabby is Bill Belichick.

Tom Brady was Chris Howard's teammate.

D Wade and Tom are friends.

I lost my train of thought, food was ready and I checked out lol, I was going somewhere though!

oh also, High Noon suggested the Lions are moving on from Stafford because of his injuries and are looking at QB in the 1st round

If true Lions are trying to sell they are taking Tua at 3.

You have to right? Not often does a QB with generational talent fall to you when you don't theoretically need him. Sell, sell, sell that you are going to take him to get LAC or MIA to jump. Otherwise the power falls into the Giants hands because they'll do the same thing but with a potentially even more desperate Dolphins team knowing someone behind MIA could jump them.
