    So in total, from his beginning of free agency, he got paid 6/$79.5M

    2018 - $5.5M
    2019 - $10M
    2020 - $16M
    2021 - $16M
    2022 - $16M
    2023 - $16M (assuming even pay outs)

    It's not the 5/$100M that some had called for entering that 2017-2018 off-season

    MLBTR predicted him at 5/$85M that off-season, so he didn't reach that by any means. But he does get a nice pay out in the end.

    Crazy that he turned down the QO only to settle for a 1 yr, $5.5 mil deal.

    Liked him on the brewers. Good player, good dude, and good locker room guy, but not sure I'd want to be the one paying him in years 3 and 4.
