    Remodel your team

As a fun hypothetical, remodel your favorite team. Maybe that means blowing it up and trading all the veterans. Maybe you just need to trade one or two key guys for better fits. Maybe you're trying to contend. Maybe you're trying to rebuild. Come up with something at least halfway realistic.

Remodeling my Celtics I would trade key guys more or less because I'm trying to contend. Tryin to trade Hayward, Williams, Theis, and 2 draft picks all to San Antonio to try to land LaMarcus Aldridge. Pairing up Aldridge with Brown, Tatum, Kemba and Smart...I would definitely love that.

Somehow go back in time and avoid trading for Conley and throw as many 1st Rd picks as it took to get Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans. Or do whatever we could to get Malcom Brogdon on FA. I don't think we could get a sack of potatoes for Conley and his albatross of a contract now. Really all we can do is hope he can turn his play around.

It would be tempting but that contract is somehow even more ridiculous than Conley's haha. I mean Paul is definitely better than Conley right now. But that extra year on that contract I want nothing to do with.

So, I've been meaning to ask you or any Jazz fan really because I've not caught one of their games yet this season. Are they playing Conley to his strengths and he's still not being successful or are they wanting him to do things kind of outside of his wheel house and that is why he's struggling?

I make 1 trade, 1 signing, and call it a day.

    Ben Simmons for Dame Lillard.
Sign Jamal Crawford to a 1 year min deal.

I try to get LMA or Marcus morris or someone who fits well with the heat to play the 4 that could also be a scoring threat using a package of Winslow DJJ and filler

Then I wait until 2021 and sign Giannis or another big name free agent with cap space and retain Bam and Nunn using their bird rights and win a few championships.

Portland would never do that my dude.. playing defence is great and all but Ben gives you almost nothing on the other end.

Maybe Simmons for CJ but even then I dont think the Blazers do it.

Then again, they did just sing Melo so who knows

I don't think Lillard and McCollum will ever make it over the top, and Lillard's already closing in on 30. It'll take a season for Collins and Nurkic to get fully healthy. I'm going to blow some **** up and reorient around CJ.
Trade Lillard and Skal to New Orleans for Favors, Ingram and Alexander-Walker.
Lillard gives New Orleans one of the best back courts in the NBA. Jrue's a defensive specialist, and they can both shoot lights out from deep. Both can feed Zion and keep the offense humming when the other is on the bench. They still have trade chips in guys like Ball and Redick.
The Blazers get that dynamite small forward they've never had, along with a decent-sized shooting guard for a change. McCollum has proven he can run the show and hit big shots just like Lillard, and he's locked up for five years. Plus they get younger like their front court. Imagine this lineup going into next season:

    PG: McCollum, Simons
    SG: Alexander-Walker, Hood
    SF: Ingram, Little
    PF: Collins, Hezonja
    C: Nurkic, Whiteside

LaVine lacks work ethic on defense, already been benched for it this season. That stuff drives Butler crazy.

Yea probably so. We have pieces to pull a deal for these guys off but I donít think weíd be willing to do it or even should do it. I wouldnít be mad at acquiring either one of them though as long as we donít have to give up more than whatís in the trade machine right now. MAYBE Nunn in the right deal but it just depends, heís on a great contract.
