    Siakim
    ? (Maybe sign Drummond)
Why would we give up the 4th pick for a player who will be 33 years old next season? We could just resign Lowry at likely half the cost of What Westbrook is being paid next season ($44.2 mill) and just keep our lottery pick.

rumour has it that we are eyeing Simmons. I wonder if its some kind of S&T for Lowry and other assets. https://clutchpoints.com/raptors-rum...gaining-steam/

I could more-so see us involved in a 3 way trade. Similar to the trade for Igoudala when MU was in Denver.

I am not about these simmonds rumors, but it does seem kinda MU like to buy low on a high ceiling guy.

Blockbuster that sends Dame Dolla to Toronto

Toronto Raptors receive: PG Damian Lillard (Dame Dolla; top 5 player in the league hands down)

Portland Trail Blazers receive: PG Fred VanVleet, PG Malachi Flynn, SF OG Anunoby, #4 overall pick, 2023 1st round draft pick and 2025 1st round draft pick

Portland with their new starting 5 you would have:

    PG- Fred VanVleet
    SG- CJ McCollum
    SF- OG Anunoby
PF- Carmelo Anthony (assuming he stays in Portland)

    C- Jusuf Nurkic

Portland off their bench would still have Norm Powell, Anfernee Simons, #4 overall whoever it is, etc.

Toronto with y'all your starting 5 after trade would look like this:

PG- Kyle Lowry (bring back Lowry by re signing)
SG- Dame Lillard (move him over to 2 guard)
SF- Gary Trent Jr (move him over to the 3)
PF- Pascal Siakam (keep him at the 4)
C- Khem Birch (make him my starter at the 5)

    Toronto with 2nd unit

PG- (address through Draft 2nd rounder or free agency)
    SG- Bembry
    SF- Watanabe/Hood
    PF- Boucher
C- Gillespie/Baynes (move over to bench)

I like Dame, but raptors dont have the assets to get him without gutting the team. Raptors will lose depth and dame will be on a team similar to Portland. Plus they lose future assets too. SGA, Simmons look like better targets.

I'd take Simmons for Siakim if its a swap. Most of y'all Raps fans won't but as currently constructed Raps will go further with Simmons vs. Siakim and probably have a better regular season record. There is over-reaction to his shooting woes, but given the Raps team ceiling with either guy as is, objectively I will take Simmons. He's 2 years younger to boot and has more potential (long term trade) to build up his stock.

Yeah I was laughing when I saw that. That would be a good trade for us.

    💯

Its got hopes up. That and the fact that weve made Siakam available. If we can move Siakam for Wiggins & 7 And the trade 4 & Flynn for SGA Id be one happy camper

Then all wed really need to do is sign a big in Free agency and retain Birch and I think wed be set. Even if its a cheap big like Kelly O, or Noel Id be fine with that.

And then we would still have the 7th pick to get ourselves a young prospect. I like Barnes, Kuminga, or Davion Mitchell at 7

[Charania] Sixers, Lakers, Mavericks, Pelicans and Heat expected to be top suitors for Kyle Lowry

Pels are the most interesting but we have 0 leverage since they can sign him outright (Bledsoe is basically an expiring, easy to dump). Lakers, Mavs are straight up trash. Sixers and Heat are meh.
