Noel has always felt like a good fit to me. Cheap, brings what we are looking for, can move his feet. Just wish he had an outside game, but for a big that won’t get very much burn and only play vs certain matchups I could really see Nurse getting a lot out of him.
Or another lineup to roll with
PG- FVV
SG- GTJ
SF- Barnes
PF- OG
C- Siakam
man some team is going to milk the **** out of the lakers this off-season[ESPN] Pacers Rejected Russ Trade: Lakers offered Westbrook, THT and a 2026 first-round pick for Malcolm Brogdon
No surprise. Mykhailuik exercises player option.

I'd do it still. I don't know if they would or not. It is definitely a more reasonable haul but they have a lot of quality depth already. And young depth. They'd still be giving the best player in the deal - on the best contract. If I were their GM, I'd keep JJJ/Brooks. They got a bunch of upcoming draft picks to fill in depth anyways.
Don't get me wrong I love those targets as a Raptors fan. I just think Memphis would be thinking - "the only discussion we're having about JJJ is one that involves Siakam."
1- OG, Svi and #33 overall to the Sacramento Kings for #4 overall and Donte DiVincenzo
Then with the 4th pick, the Raptors could draft Jaden Ivey with that pick
Then in this scenario your Raptors lineup
PG- Fred VanVleet
SG- Gary Trent Jr
SF- Scottie Barnes
PF- Pascal Siakam
C- Precious Achiuwa
Jaden Ivey being box office or close enough to that would be with your 2nd unit but you could use him much like you did Barnes in his rookie year. Donte he's a former champion with the Bucks and you could also have him in your 2nd unit.
Or ...
2- OG, Boucher, 2025 1st round draft pick and #33 overall for 2022 to the Phoenix Suns for DeAndre Ayton
Then you would have:
PG- VanVleet
SG- Trent Jr
SF- Barnes
PF- Siakam
C- Ayton
Precious would still be there on your bench with 2nd unit with Ayton becoming your elite big for the future.
they traded grant for a late first? wut. pretty weird considering they turned down multiple firsts from boston.

we have been interviewing some lottery guys. potential trade?
My best guess is they really liked Portland's ability to absorb Grant full contract and create enough space for a max contract to offer this summer. I wonder if they've already been in conversation with Ayton's camp. My best guess after this is Ayton is a Piston next season. I agree the return seems low for Grant.
It wouldn't shock me. I always think it is unlikely to expect a big trade, but I could understand it if a team really wanted OG and was willing to put together a really impressive package. And Portland can't be done after the Grant move. They are still not a playoff team in the West IMO.
