So nice of you to grace us with your presence. Didn't think you'd take any time away from the political boards. [emoji14]

For starters, our 1st pick has to be either Young (hopefully), or one of the tackles, Thomas or Wirfs. I personally like Wirfs a little more, but Thomas is a damn solid prospect as well. Anything other than that, assuming we stay in range to pick them, would be a huge mistake.

I have a hard time seeing us out-suck the Redskins for Young.

    Don't worry. He's got this.

With all that has happened with Trent, they couls be looking at one of the OTs first. If not, they would be a great consolation prize for us anyway.

There are some incredibly bad teams out there. We could be a top 3 pick or be at 10. Was, Miami, Bengals, Jets, Bucs, Lions, Arizona, Falcons, Broncos, Chargers, Browns, Jags.....I mean these teams are all a mess.

Don't include the Jets in your list . They are playing the best football of the season for them . They should win the next 2 against Cinncinnatti and the Dolphins. They will probably lose to the Ravens but could beat both the Steelers , with no real QB and the Bills.

Sorry this meant for GGGG men

I agree with the statement that Young has to be our pick before any offensive lineman. He reminds me of LT, although no one could ever be as good as LT. He is the hands down the player we need.

The Bengels desperately need a QB but they could trade down a little and still get one and pick up more draft picks

Has there ever been a team so dedicated to a mediocre at best franchise QB as the Bengals with Dalton? They should have moved on 4 years ago.

The Giants have 5 games left: Green Bay, Philadelphia x2, Miami, and Washington. You can basically book Green Bay and both Eagles games as losses. But those other two worry me because it can destroy our draft prospects. They need to lose those games. Period. I don't believe in going into seasons with the intention of losing games, but when you're 2-9 through 11 games, it's all about the draft.

If the season ended today, the Giants have the 2nd overall pick. However, the 2 other 2-9 teams happen to be on our schedule. To me, the key is the Washington game. Cincinnati is going to draft a QB. By all accounts, Miami probably will, too. So 3rd overall might still get us Chase Young, but why risk it?

Get that 2nd overall pick. Draft Chase Young. Cut Jenkins. Trade Ogletree and get a pick. Go into the offseason with a ton of money to spend. Spend it on both lines. This is the time where you HAVE to build the most important parts of the team. You could have your franchise QB, stud RB, and a stud DE all on rookie deals. Don't risk a moral victory or two and end up with the 7th pick and the 2nd best OT (even though we're desperate for one of those, too).

Chase Young round 1. Best OT available round 2. Basically have to re-sign Leonard Williams to justify trading our 3rd. Another OT with our comp 3rd. Heck, ANOTHER OT with our early 4th. I don't care at this point. Draft 3 OT in the first 100-ish picks and if you hit 2, you change the franchise.

Gotta hope and pray that Chase Young falls into our lap

I am hoping for best case scenario. We get the first overall pick Cincinnati has the second and Miami has the third. We trade back from 1 to 2 with Cincy and then 2 to 3 with Miami. We get a bunch of ones and twos and still get Chase young
