    Would you rather?

Do a job you hate for 25 years but get a $1 million per year, or do a job you love for 25 years for $100k per year?

If Trump can become president with no political background then I don't understand why I need a resumé

    100k

    But make it interesting.

A job you hate and makes you miserable for 12 years a 1 mil a year
    vs
    A job you love for 25 years a 100k

    **** off. Where's my title

Probably the 25 years at 100K.

Even the 12 years at 1 mil per, od still probably do the 100K.

However, I could probably work like 5 years at the miserable job and get double what I’d get in 25 years being happy. I’d just then get a job that I make 50-60K and is alright. I’d have more than enough.

It’s hard to imagine that I’d do anything legal for a million per year and hate it. So I’ll take $25 million.

We get one shot at this thing called life. I'd rather be happy than not. Give me the rewarding job and the 100K/yr. I don't need $25M to do the things I want in life.

I agree, a job you love and job security.

plus you got to figure making 100K you would be able to invest some of that money to make even more out of it.

100K per year. I have to spend 8 hours a day there, I would rather take that amount and be happy than suffer for more.

I think it’s pretty easily the 100k job. I think you should make it more realistic. Do the job you hate for 100k and the job you love for 40k.

How many people already do a job they hate for life for 40k and under?

I've been miserable at jobs. I couldn't hang in there for that length of time, even if it were 12 years. Life is too short to be miserable like that. Not worth it. $100k is more than enough to be happy and have a good life.
