It won't work unless you have Steph Curry and Klay Thompson on your team. Both of those guys are once in a lifetime shooters.
I think you can blame advanced analytics for that.

I’d say 3 picks and Tobias Harris big contract for CP3.

The defense has never been in question. And when people were ripping his shooting what always got lost in the shuffle is that he’s a good playmaker. He always has been.

Now that he seem to be an “ok” shooter when you look at his overall game he deserves more props. You throw it all together - all NBA defender, good playmaker, ok shooter - and that’s a very legit player. Way better than I think people think of him as. He’s more than just some random energy/hustle guy with gritty intangibles.
The sharp shooter comment was partially jest. But I agree overall. He’s a good play maker, doesn’t make turnovers, all nba defender and having legit great defensive season so far, and now he seems like he’s at least nba average 3 pt shooter. Add that with his intangibles and you’ve got a real good player on $12 mil per. He’ll likely outperform his salary.

Without KD they aren't tooling on anyone. They'll be good, but no chance they win it all again since KD is gone.

If this is Ben's ceiling I'm glad we took Brown. He's come alive this year

if its his ceiling he will only grow on a team that runs... we will def see.... i have said from day 1 ben is the safer pick because he will always be good to very good but ingram could be great... i was not a fan of brown... he is def proving people wrong though... how much is him and how much is your system though? i feel like you could put a player like rivers in your system and he would be a god tbh

Why the hell would any team give up multiple picks for Chris Paul? That's absolutely ridiculous. The Thunder would be lucky to just trade CP3 for Tobias straight up.

I’ve see you and other Sixers fans argue this. There’s a degree of truth to it but look no further than the Jimmy Butler situation for why “had no choice” is also a little extreme. If you guys didn’t want him but wanted to use the salary slot I’m sure a deal could have been worked out.
