    Makes sense. Odorizzi prob rather test the market next year when Cole and Strasburg aren't also FAs at the same time.

    Would've been one of the worst contracts given out in some time.

    Odorizzi accepting this contract is puzzling, because a team could've given him that deal. On the other hand, I could easily see him potentially being in a Keuchel-type situation with an extremely late signing with a QO attached to his name.

    Yeah, he is not a guy that teams would be willing to lose a draft pick.
