Would not be surprised if we win this. Rams are nothing special this year.

5-5 with two more winnable games in November.

I have no clue who will win, but I have my hopes.

I will continue doing mental gymnastics to arrive us at 10-6 until it's mathematically impossible for that to happen.

Then all we have to do is go 2012 Ravens to win the Super Bowl. A pedestrian to bad quarterback plays completely out of his mind for 4 games in Jan/Feb and an upper tier though not actually elite defense plays to an elite caliber for those same 4 games.

    Championship.

I will add that I can so easily see a scenario where this team rattles off 5 consecutive wins against bad-average-bad-bad-average teams to arrive at 8-5 and the general consensus, I think correctly, would remain that we are not particularly good.

But maybe they could learn something about themselves in that time, enough to manage a 2-1 finish against actual good teams in GB, KC, MIN and arrive at 10-6.

I was bizarrely encouraged when I read something today from the old "trusted inside source" that said Nagy *significantly* dialed back the playbook for Mitch out of frustration against Detroit. I mean, we won that one. Just win. Whatever.

If anything we can stop reading fluff stories in the offseason. Trubisky ready to take the leap, 202.... Leonard Floyd a freak, great offseason, ready to step up and dominate...... Roquan Smith Pro Bowl, maybe All Pro..... Best Bears team since 85, going to the SB.... Be you.......

In this game we'll see if Nagy can swallow his pride and let his QB just play to his strengths.

Donald, Fowler, and Matthews are going hunting and if you force Mitch in the pocket, he will get tenderized.

I hope to see more dash passes, rollouts and running away from Donald.

I don't know HOW this line contained him last year, but I certaintly don't expect them to do it again this year.

I'm with you. I believe that there's a chance, it's not all doom and gloom.

    My projections for this game

    Mitch outplays Goff

    Cohen out gains Gurley

Bears and Rams Defense combine for more points than either offense.

Iíd be shocked if Mitch outplayed Goff. Especially in LA. Goff has had elite games before. Mitch has had like one...against the bucs
