I really don't care much one way or the other. Just because it didn't work out in Philly for Kapler doesn't mean it's not going to work out in SF. Regardless, a manager's impact on a team is often completely overstated.

The Giants shoulda kept Bochy until he retired. Kapler sounds like a reject from the Cubs interviews. What happened lol?

just got your post in the other thread spliff.... kapler is a nice dude but he is way too nice... it took 5 times of our guys not running **** out before he finally held someone accountable.... not joking... each time he would say... i talked to him but he knows what he needs to do there and he wont do it again..... 2 weeks later it would happen again.

His use of the bull pen is dreadful and a guy could blow but if he likes the player he will use him anyway nomatter how bad the guy is

he also over does the advanced analytics ****.... meaning... dickerson was hot and he benched him for a right handed the next game that is hitting 212 and went on to go 0-4 with 3 strikeouts.... he will always go with the advanced analytic over his gut... you could have the hottest player in the world and he will give no ****s and go with the left vs right over letting the better hitter go left vs left.

Overall he was more annoying then bad... it was the little things and he will likely learn and get better so you should be good but the first year will be infuriating until you get use to him

For sure. I think fans are going to dislike to hate most managers (especially newer ones) until their team sustains some sort of success.

i just really hated the no accountability thing... it literally happened about 8 times with 4 different players last year where they didnt run something out and were damn near walking to first.
