So I guess Kapler will be the transition guy. Assuming Giants won't be competitive until he's gone.

    Far from a safe assumption.

I hate this. Kapler the manager is whatever. Kapler the person is a pile of ****. Between him, Baer, and Johnson they're making it hard to root for this team.

Quite the avalanche of outrage by Giants fans on Twitter over this hire. Everyone assuming the guy is some women hating monster based on how he handled a minor's sexual assault accusation against a Dodgers minor leaguer back in 2015.

I'm by no means a fan of the guy but it seems like people are kind of jumping to conclusions and assuming the absolute worst when it comes to Kapler (specifically that he reported the incident to Dodgers upper management instead of going directly to the police). With the information that I've come across, I don't see this as damning as others apparently do.

I do think that it's interesting there isn't any outrage at Zaidi who was in the Dodgers organization at the time. He took blame for his part in it.
