    Mahomes or Jackson

Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. Two QB's getting it done in wildly different ways. Both amazingly stellar talents.

But, if you had to pick 1 to be the face of franchise, who would you pick?

    Jackson 2019 season:
    153/238 (64.3%), 1813 yards, 12 TD, 5 INT, 99 rushes, 637 yards, 5 TD
    Career (15 starts):
    61.8%, 3014 yards, 18 TD, 5 INT, 246 rushes, 1332 yards, 10 TD
    Per Game:
    200.9 yards, 1.2 TD, 0.3 INT, 16.4 rushes, 88.8 yards, 0.66 TD

Mahomes 2019 season (2 missed games knee):
    157/241 (65.1%), 2180 yards, 15 TD, 1 INT, 17 rushes, 82 yards, 0 TD
    Career (25 starts):
    65.7%, 7561 yards, 65 TD, 14 INT, 84 rushes, 364 yards, 2 TD
    Per Game:
    302.4 yards, 1.6 TD, 0.56 INT, 3.4 rushes, 14.6 yards, 0.08 TD

Mahomes and I'm not even thinking twice. Jackson is fun to watch, but he's too reliant on running. The bulk of his throws are heavy play action/misdirection and go to RB or TEs on intermediate passes. I've yet to watch him sit in the pocket and throw 35 times like we see Mahomes do almost weekly and that's a big deal breaker.

Maybe Jackson can last, but the offense is very gimmicky and honestly reminds me of SF with Kaep.

Jackson game won't translate as well in the post season. His game can be taken away more easily. Mahomes has a multi faceted game and can beat you in more ways and harder to game plan for after December.

Mahomes has more skills in his tool box. Jackson is the more electric runner, but Mahomes is like the perfect modern day quarterback.

Mahomes all day everyday. Jackson will be out of the league in 5 years, Mahomes will be tearing it up.

Greg Roman may have finally parlayed his success with mobile QBs into a head coaching opportunity. The offense he designed for Jackson has been great. Hell, they even brought RGIII onto the field today to help run the triple option (he took the pitch from Jackson.)

My only concern about Jackson is that he seeks out and welcomes contact. If they could get him to slide or go out of bounds more, I would be more confident about the longevity of his career.

Yeah i dont see Mahomes' injury affecting his long term career that much, might not meet expectations this year but Chiefs fans got a whole lot to look forward to.

    Just FYI,

    Jackson is 6'2" 212 lbs
    RG3 is 6'2" 223 lbs

They both play the exact same style.
