Depends on how you see it. We had the best odds of picking 5th by a wide margin, individually

Iíd still take it. Getting one of Ball, Edwards, Hayes, or Deni would be just fine. I think all will be at worst good players

    Gotta start somewhere haha

Based on the more mainstream draft guys, Iím getting the feeling that Hayes will be there in the 6-10 range.

It depends on who gets the top picks if teams like chi det was get top 3 picks hayes and lamelo can go top 3

I'm not really paying attention to mocks until after the lottery imo its fixed lol but whatever I can see the nba giving us another top pick

Oh yeah I agree, have to take the higher rated prospect if he is available. This is why I am still holding out hope for Deni on the Knicks. I'm not as high on Hayes as some appear to be though.

Deni is a way better prospect than both Nesmith and Saddiq.

The Knicks should take a playmaker if they can get one but Nesmith and Saddiq would be good additions to the team.
Good thing Deni does everything those 2 do and is a playmaker.
Rather take a chance on Deni just because his ceiling is super high.

If Deni is a bust at least the team went for the home run. Base hit draft picks is what everyone is complaining about. Most Knick fans don't have the patience for base hit draft picks. They want that instant gratification. They want the home run. So the Knicks could go for that home run with Deni even if it turns out they strike out.

This is a very interesting podcast from BR Jonathan Wasserman. It gives insight not only to his opinion but that of NBA scouts and execs. There are some surprises here.

The twitter/fanverse definitely does not match up with the NBA people.

Idk if deni is the next Luka sure but he can also be the next saric

Nesmith brings much needed spacing from day 1 he just fits our team alot better
