    Frank - 2 way
    RJ- 2 way
    Mitch - 2 way

Randle, Payton, Portis, - Now you see why some players bounce around the league or bounce between starters and bench. Talent is there but complete game is not. Draft players that have all-around potential - even if it takes longer (Giannis, Butler, etc.) it will pay off. BUT this is NY and we got DOLAN and ROSE and we'll draft Cole and he'll turn into Trey Young and we'll be a perennial 6th seed.

    - PF - Wood
    - Draft - Killian and Nesmith (or someone like that). Pick up a REAL backup Center. Keep Taj as a backup 4.
Where did you get the notion that Cole is not good defensively? I only ask because I have a very different viewing experience of him. He seems to be a hardworking, high motor, two way player from what I have seen.

I don't disagree. I have listened to may people say that as well. It's not really him at his current stage I am worried about, it's what happens to players over a course of him here at MSG and how it affects him, from culture, to fan pressure, to expectations, to his teammates. I just picked Cole as a name in the hat, not personal. But if the "culture" is bad, player may tend to change how they ball. It's a mentality thing more than anything.

Listen I hope he is a good two way player. But responsibility levels in the league plus situation may change you. The last sentence was my NYK pessimism. note : i should have added "and get Derozen and CP3".

Tournament cancelled, so what we know about these players is what we know.

The NBA combine will matter more than ever if they have it.

highest chance at #7 pick, but also at least a 37.2% chance at a top 4 pick. top 4 is all we can hope for at this point. crazy that GSW has a chance to add the #1 pick now to that core.

8.6% chance of landing 6th pick
29.8% chance of landing 7th pick
20.6% chance of landing 8th pick
3.7% chance of landing 9th pick
0.1% chance of landing 10th pick

So most likely the Knicks will be picking 7th or 8th (50.4% chance), somewhere in the Top 4 or 6th overall.

It is unlikely that they pick 9th and it would be absolutely horrible fortune to pick 10th.
see this is where I disagree with most in here, what is wrong with a 37.2% shot at a top 4?

the 6th place team never had these kid of odds prior to land a top three, hence why both NO and Memphis got the one and two.

same odds we had last year, how did that work out? we got lucky with the third pick, they have a better shot at #5 don't they?

first time in this new draft we can actually be thankful if this is what it is........could be worse, we could have the 6th place odds from 2 years back, right?

Or we could have just tanked and got another top 3 pick

It doesnít matter so much in this draft, but Iíd rather have better odds of Top 4 with less floor.

I donít see how you could possibly debate how bad it is that we let 2 teams pass us with worthless wins.

We now have worse odds of a higher pick. Canít pick 5th. And have over a 50% chance to pick 7th or later.

So we could potentially miss on all the guards that would help us. Yes, you never know what those ping pong balls are going to do, but why harm the odds. Because now us having 21 wins makes you feel much better than winning 19 or less? Still absolutely horrible

How many times have we wished we picked a spot or 2 higher? You never know if it mattered or not, but it couldnít hurt

We have this exact same conversation every year. No one learns.

We can't control wins, so what is that we need to learn.

Why did the Wizards beat us the other night! What the hell were they thinking! Their fans never learn

The wizards are in a different situation. They already have a star who doesnít want to see any more losing. Has seemingly remained committed to the team, they donít want to piss him off. A tank would surely accomplish that

If we had a player even half as good as Beal, Iíd feel a lot better. We donít even have one 100% legit #1, #2, or #3 guy yet
