The Knicks have been rebuilding (forever) because they are:
    1. Refusing to commit to a full rebuild.
    2. Sign aging superstars

You NEED at least 2 playmakers in order to be a competitive team.

    Denver had Murray and Jokic
    Miami had Butler and Dragic

The more playmakers, the unselfish play leads to winning.

The Knicks' job is to draft just ONE playmaker...then let the Front Office sign some overrated veteran.

if I missed understood my bad, but you said earlier to me that Orlando wants DSJ and we should exploit that, those were pretty much your exact words, which makes it sound like they really want him.

    no biggie either way.

lmao Halis shot is broke too, hence why he can't shoot off the dribble.

seriously, you guys watch to many highlight tapes and not enough full games, Hali is nothing close to the player y'all think he is. Dude legit has no handle, can't dribble with his right hand, has 0 offensive moves, Hali in the half court is nothing but a spot up shooter.

Vassell is also the best defender in the draft, and best help defender in the draft, putting him on the court with Mitch is a very good look.

I think RJ will be a good playmaker once he has space.

Again statistically, he had the least amount of space in the entire nba to work with, our front office did everything possible to hurt his development as a rookie.

This just pretty much underscores that Haliburton might struggle to score outside of catch and shoot opportunities and in transition. He doesnít get to the line either.

Watching those videos, you can see why. Like Lonzo coming out, his shot is just difficult to get into off the dribble.

Haliburton does a lot of other things really well, but despite the lack of a reliable jumper, I think Okoro could potentially provide more scoring. He gets to the line and finishes at a high rate on his drives. Okoro also does a lot of similar things really well and provides similar intangibles. He is potentially an elite defender as well.

Arguing with you guys about Okoro has put me firmly on the Okoro train. Vassellís shooting videos help that as well.

Yeah, Iím starting to feel that way also.

ESPN/Draft Express brought up the potential for an Okoro/RJ backcourt in their last mock if the Knicks canít solve their PG issues and I kinda like the idea of it for the time being and for stretches.

Okoro is considered by many to be the best perimeter defender in the draft. He has the toughness, unselfishness and versatility to play a role immediately on the wing. Should the Knicks elect to make RJ Barrett their primary ball handler and playmaker, pairing him with a defensive wing such as Okoro to hound point guards could make for a tough backcourt.

I donít think so either. I think he gets drafted by Atlanta or Detroit.

Let's look at the needs of the New York Knicks:

    1. 25th in FG% Terrible shooting.

    2. 27th in 3P% Terrible perimeter shooting.

    3. 27th in assists per game. Don't share the ball.

    4. 30th in FT% Can't hit a free throw.

    This team has NO OFFENSE.

Then if you want someone who can catch and shoot off the dribble or who can create their own shot or be a playmaker, then you obviously want someone who doesn't have a broken shot. But who?

There's Okoro, Maxey, Killian Hayes, Kira Lewis Jr, or Cole Anthony

I would probably go Killian Hayes if you want a PG who can not only score but creates more for his teammates but a PG that can actually shoot and it doesn't look broken

Or if you want to be defensive minded then you go Okoro

But if you want fast paced, then you go Cole Anthony

Top 5: edwards, ball, wiseman, deni, obi
Then you have atlanta and detroit to choose between: hayes, okongwu, hali and okoro.
    Scenario 1:
    Atl: hali
    Det: hayes
    My pick: okongwu

Scenario 2 (what i think will happen):
    Atl: hali
    Det: okongwu
    My pick: hayes

    Scenario 3
    Atl: okongwu
    Det: hayes
    My pick: okoro

So my board right will be :
1- whichever fall between obi, deni, okongwu
    2- hayes
    3- okoro
    4- hali
I would be very happy with either one of those mentioned, i would also explore a swap with washington if that can net an extra asset (pick or young talent)
