Don't draft any more guards who can't shoot. No Okoro and No Hampton, and not sold on Cole's shooting either.

Biv - From Jonathan Macri's newsletter today:

"Heard from a league source yesterday that you can add the Knicks to the list of teams interested in the JUCO Player of the Year and apparent draft riser Jay Scrubb. Adam Zagoria tweeted last week that Boston, Orlando, Portland and Minnesota, who own picks 14 through 17, are high on him."

RJ definitely needs to improve his three and so does frank. If they improve it by just 3% theyíll both be respectable 3 point shooters.

I think we should move RJ back to his natural position if we can either draft, sign, or trade for a solid shooting guard.

It's not about percentage they also must want to spread the court take risky shots to help most of the time our guards are aiming there shots rather then try to create opportunity.

As long as they make their 3s at an efficient clip we should be good. We need better shooters at both guard positions and we should move RJ to the 3.

Randle also needs to improve his 3 and his efficiency. Heís similar to TH jr where heís more efficient as a 3 option and looks much better than as a #1 option. He was very productive last year averaging 20 and 10. But he needs to become more efficient and adapt to the new style of basketball a little bit.

When you look at all Scrubb can do, it's hard not to see him going in the first round. Get him some Thibs disciplined coaching with Woody and the kid could be an absolute stud. Hoping he's there for Knicks at 27. He would immediately be the best penetrator on the team who finishes above the rim and through contact. DS is up there but he can't finish so...

I also see Scrubb playing the role of lead guard quite a bit in pick and roll ala Hero, Buter, Mitchell, and others

Rj is a rookie who is still developing, and the best player on the team, surrounding him with terrible 3 point shooting, especially from the big man position is about the dumbest thing this front office could of done.

And spreading the floor for frank is not pointless.

Ball handlers need space to operate, this is basic nba concepts.

Ball handlers dont need to be knock down 3 point shooters, they just need to be average at it, but the guys on the court with them need to be.

A ball handler on the court with 3-4 teammates who arent outside shooters does not work in the nba anymore.

Frank IS NOT a ball handler or penetrator. And RJ needs to learn to shoot so HE can spread the floor like a wing is supposed to. RJ is NOT the best player on the team and until he holds up his end of the bargain with spacing the floor, he can't expect someone else to do it for him. Not like he's a great penetrator or something.

Knicks are blaming the bigs for not spreading the floor, meanwhile we have guards shooting 20 something percent from 3.

Lol Who's better on this team than RJ?

And that doesnt even make sense, rj cant expect someone else to do it for him? What the hell does that even mean?

That's one of the dumbest comments I've ever read on this forum. If the guys who arent handling the ball, cant shoot threes than what kind of voodoo magic trick is RJ or frank expected to do, to create floor space for themselves?

Hes not a good FACILITATOR though, averages more turnovers than assist. And is a offensive fouling machine driving to the rim and plays no defense.

Spread the floor for him. Stop and think boss. Aiyaiyai..

Randle is better than RJ and it's not even close. Frank and RJ have issues handling the ball, penetrating, and shooting. They need to start acting like guards before you expect bigs to start acting like them.

Frank is not a starter on any team in the NBA so why are Knick fans taking about what others players NEED to do for them?? Its simply ridiculous. Frank needs to learn how to play his own position similar to RJ.

It's hard to act like a guard when your surrounded by players who cant hit the 3.

It's pretty common sense, why do you think the front office is targeting stretch 4s in free agency.

Lol randle being better than rj, Randle is one of the worst players in the nba.
