I like Nesmith too. It could also be Lewis or someone else. I still think there is going to be a surprise in this draft in terms of a good player dropping a lot farther than predicted.

That would be a fun team to watch for sure. This ensures that RJ is our worst projected outside shooter 1-4 and we would have an athletic team with size and length at each position. If RJs shot comes along, this team can be extremely dangerous.

Wed still have a ton of cap as well.
I would sign up for that. Would love Cole and Nesmith too.

I think it gives you a better chance. Its still wishful thinking

Give me two of Deni/Cole/Lewis/Nesmith and I will gladly take my chances.

Yeah if Lewis is gone, I would take Cole here. Im certain there will be a good value PG in the mid-1st.

I would call the TWolves about the 16th pick. Maybe we can trade Knox and the Clippers pick to move up.

I'm 100% on the Nesmith bandwagon!

I wouldn't even be upset if the Knicks used the 6th pick on him.

If the scouts say he's the guy I'll believe them.

He is a guy I expect to rise up draft boards. Wont be shocked if he ends up a top 10 pick or close to it.

Agreed, were unlikely to actually have the 6th pick anyway. Were much more likely going to lick 7th or 8th.

This draft is pretty weak on wings, so wed be getting better value grabbing Nesmith early and getting our PG later potentially.

I just think hes the kind of player we havent had in a long time. A pure volume 3PT shooter who has potential as an all-around scorer and above average defender who can guard multiple positions.

I also think Nesmith can unlock some more athleticism with an NBA fitness routine. Randle wasnt the most athletic coming out of Kentucky, but hes really got into excellent shape as a pro and his explosiveness improved dramatically.

I think his athleticism is underrated in this regard as it is. He shows some burst on closeouts and has some above the rim potential. His body from a size perspective is NBA ready by Day 1.

Im open to it. If we draft 7th/8th maybe just go for Nesmith and if anything try to move up that second Clips pick to around 20 to nab Lewis. I feel like Lewis will still be there at 20.

Maledon or RJ Hampton could both be available near the 20th pick as well.

Nesmith projects to be a role player, no way should we take him with our pick. I'll take Cole, Hayes, Wiseman, Deni, Hali, Okongu, Okoro, Hampton, even Lewis before I take Nesmith.
